Blue Boxes These devices sampled the air at 15 locations around the Heber Wells building. At each location, three Blue Boxes were deployed to sample air during the three tests in turn. The air samples were saved in Tevlar bags and analyzed by a GC for SF6. Sample Times Each Blue Box included 10 bags. The first bag started sampling 5 minutes 15 seconds after the start of the test. A small sample of air was taken every 30 seconds over a 5-minute period. That is, the first bag sampled from 5:15 to 9:45, the second bag sampled from 10:15 through 14:45, etc. Locations The following is a table of the locations of the Blue Boxes relative to the release point. Site x_meters y_meters 1 33.0 46.4 2 27.7 74.1 3 0.5 82.7 4 -33.9 77.0 5 -73.2 78.9 6 -153.0 115.7 7 -151.1 17.2 8 -106.1 42.6 9 -102.3 16.7 10 -19.6 -14.8 11 0.5 -50.2 12 33.0 -18.2 13 -70.8 18.6 14 -52.6 58.8 15 26.8 14.3 Data files The data are presented in ASCII files with one row per Blue Box and columns for the 10 bags in the box. The first three columns identify the location number, release number, and the identity of the box. Comments Some of the Blue Boxes did not operate at all. These boxes are excluded from the data. Some filled only a few of the 10 bags. The missing data are represented with "#N/A".
